Generative Knitting

Generative Knitting is an interactive study translated from an earlier p5.js practice into a modular textile field. Each square behaves like a small loom: the cursor shifts tension, density, and rhythm inside each knitted cell.

The work treats repetition as a live system instead of a fixed pattern. Similar structures keep recurring, but their color, spacing, and motion register small differences from tile to tile.
