It is a suspended sound sculpture, and its sound is intentionally fragile. The transparent film acts as a vibrating membrane, turning the body of the work into the surface through which sound is transmitted. The work asks the viewer to move closer, shifting attention from loudness to proximity.

We Were Once Happy is a series of small kinetic installations, assembled with video clips and sound elements to create a memory space that is contradictory and cyclical. The work explores the opposing qualities in materials, movement and colors.

A continuous drawing recorded on a programmed moving canvas with sound effects according to cursor coordination. With the special stroke characteristic, the artist played with the canvas moving speed and direction to draw and erase, presenting a continuous narrative and transformation of visual and sound.
